The spa industries night of nights was held on the 14^th November with the presentation of the fifth annual LI’TYA Excellence Awards.The award winning Peninsula Hot Springs proved to be a stunning venue with guests enjoying luxurious soaks in the natural mineral baths after the formalities.

SpaAsia Crystal Awards 2007

The SpaAsia Crystal Awards are to spa as the Oscars are to movies. The industries most prestigious awards are quality driven and honour excellence in every area of spa business. To date the awards have set the benchmark in standards across the board from spa products to resort and day spa facilities.

Drawn on October 4^th at the SpaAsia Wellness Summit’s gala ball, the big winner on the night was LI'TYA first concept spa facility set in the landmark property of the St Kilda Sea Baths overlooking the foreshore of Port Phillip Bay, Victoria, Australia. LI’TYA Spa Dreaming concept spa took out the award for Best Day Spa in the world after judges and the public vote decided this LI’TYA spa encompassed SpaAsia’s definition of spa whereby the business is driven with integrity and commitment to quality.

LI’TYA company founder and managing director Gayle Heron said today “Winning these awards shows that the LI’TYA Spa Dreaming concept is a viable and successful business venture that is second to none. The St Kilda facility has only been fully up and running for eleven months. To win this award after such a short amount of time is exciting and I am confident all of our concept spas will be just as successful”.

Currently, plans for more LI’TYA Spa Dreaming concept spas are underway in Dublin , Thailand , Broome and Indonesia , with interest from America and across Asia .

Telstra Business Women's Awards 2007

The Telstra Business Women's Awards honour the outstanding and valuable contrabution Australian women make to business. This year LI'TYA company founder Gayle Heron was nominated  for the awards and was shortlisted to the final five women in Victoria state.
